Formats that fit your schedule

Start with a 6–8 week pilot, then step up to a 12–16 week semester. Programs run 1–3 sessions per week based on demand.

Safety, screening & insurance

  • Every coach clears a Level 2 (FDLE/FBI) background check before stepping on campus.
  • Coaches complete SafeSport-equivalent training in youth safety.
  • PPR-certified instructors are the coaching standard for every VPA program.
  • Structured safety protocols: age-appropriate drills, controlled class sizes, supervised gameplay, and signed waivers.

Pickleball is also generally lower-impact than many traditional youth sports.

Fit with PE & SEL goals

The program supports recognized Physical Education outcomes — movement competency, motor-skill development, and lifelong fitness — alongside Social-Emotional Learning goals: self-management, relationship skills, social awareness, and responsible decision-making.

Administrator questions

We have a full schedule.

The program is flexible. Start with a short pilot in the time you already have, then scale only if it works for your students.

We have no dedicated courts.

You don’t need them. We bring portable nets and temporary lines that set up in gyms, on blacktops, and in multipurpose rooms.

Will this create extra work for our staff?

No. VPA handles equipment, instruction, and program oversight. You provide the space, student access, and a point of contact.

How pricing works

We don’t publish flat rates, because no two programs look alike. Every proposal is scoped to three variables:

  • Grade bands — which of grades 4–12 you’re serving.
  • Sessions per week — from a single weekly session to 1–3 per week.
  • Funding mix — how the program is paid for, including Step Up For Students as our approved-provider status progresses.

Tell us those three and we’ll send a written proposal with pricing scoped to your exact program.

Funding & accessibility

Florida families increasingly fund enrichment through Step Up For Students education savings accounts. VPA is pursuing approved-provider status — our funding page explains the scholarship programs and exactly where we stand.
